| Little Gems currently has a total of 11 classrooms, including the Arabic Classroom. Each class is named after a gem (e.g Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond) and is colour themed to reflect its name. All the classrooms are bright, spacous and colourful, with ample space for all the children to enjoy a variety of activities. Each class has a large range of toys and equipment including construction materials, threading and lacing activities, small world play toys, puzzles, cars and trucks, sorting and sequencing sets and various mathematical toys. Every classroom also has a large playhouse with kitchen and dolls, sand and water trays and dressing up clothes as well as a bathroom with a child-sized toilet and nappy changing facilities. Nursery and Reception classes have a computer each and a wide variety of practical equipment designed to teach and reinforce literacy and mathematical skills. |
