The Turquoise class is our brand new pre-school class with 25 children aged between 22 months and 2 and a half years. There are 6 members of staff on hand to help each child settle in. Learning is made fun through songs and finger rhymes, dancing and games, and group activities such as messy painting and cooking. Activities such as play-dough, puzzles, threading and sand and water play are available on a daily basis, as are painting, chalk boards and colouring.

There are plenty of toys, ranging from building blocks and stacking cups to train sets and dolls houses There are lots of colourful and exciting books for the children to handle and enjoy, and they have story time at the end of each morning as well as circle time for songs and fun with colours, number rhymes and shapes. The Turquoise class has it's own large, shaded play area with large play equipment as well as bikes and cars.

Imagination and creative skills are developed through arts and crafts, dressing up, role-play in the home corner and dance and movement sessions. The children also enjoy a weekly P.E session with balls, hoops, tunnels and a parachute.
